Lavender 'Hidcote' looks fabulous all year round, has an amazing fragrance, which when dried can last long after and is heavy in nectar and pollen for much of the summer months so the butterflies and bees favour it. For the best results add plenty of grit before you plant 'Hidcote' if you garden on heavy clay soil.
